I have been fascinated with the Lighter Than Air (LTA) airships that have been used by the Navy and their history, especially during the World War 2 era.

I had very rare photo reference from someone who was there, assigned as an aerial photographer with the Army Air Corp, who took photos, which I used as inspiration for this watercolor painting.
