Pricing

Paintings by Anthony M. Stencel keep increasing in value due to their collectible nature and as such, prices are subject to change. The artist is sensitive to the natural desire to keep the cost of commissioned paintings to a minimum and will work with clients on an individual basis.

Since no two paintings are alike, prices for paintings are based upon several factors. The type of scene or event depicted, the inclusion of more than one person, added objects of interest, background, and the finished size of the artwork all come into play. Also important to consider is the quality of reference photographs, the need to create a "composite image" from several photographs or the need for the artist to travel and conduct research for additional photos or materials required to accurately portray the desired subject.

• All prices quoted are for artwork only, unframed and unmatted.

• Transportation of photographs, drawings, and paintings are the responsibility of the client.

• Postage in both directions is paid by the client. The artist recommends that all shipping be insured. The artist cannot be held responsible for loss or damage.

• Only museum-grade, professional quality, acid free archival materials are used in all artwork. 100% acid free papers and/or masonite gessoed board will be used to insure longevity.

• The artist retains all copyrights for the image. If prints are to be generated, separate terms will be negotiated.

Terms

After discussion of the project, and approval of the artist and client, a non-refundable deposit of 1/3 the total cost will be required from the client before artist begins painting. If desired by client, interval progress reports of the painting will be shown to the client by e-mail, regular mail, or in person.

After the client is completely satisfied, client will pay remaining fees and artist will deliver completed work, via shipping or by agreed method of delivery.
