"See You In A Year - 1940"
The federal activation of
the 32nd Infantry Division

The soldier's face is young, with the expression of excitement and pride in his eyes. Only a short while ago was he playing ball, stocking grocery shelves or marching every Thursday night with the "boys" in his home town National Guard Armory.

Now, he finds himself far from home for the first time, and preparing for the unknown in 1940. December 7th, 1941 will change this soldier and his buddies lives forever, but the 32nd will be one of the first Divisions sent overseas, prepared and trained better than any other Division, active or reserve.

With his hand painted "grip" he has arrived and is ready to train.
